Spay & Neuter Clinic Pre-Operative Tests
Heartworm testing is recommended for dogs over 7 months old that have never been tested or that have missed preventative treatments.
We recommend screening tests for liver & kidney function and for clotting disorders even in apparently normal-looking pets; young and old. Dobermans, Standard Poodles, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds and Labs are especially prone to inherited clotting disorders. Surgery on affected pets is dangerous.
