Office Visits

Office Visits are scheduled on 30-minute intervals to allow ample time  for taking the history and providing a complete conventional veterinary medical exam as well as a traditional Chinese veterinary medical exam.  Standard appointments are $55.  The cost of complex cases requiring added time will increase accordingly.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been routinely used for pets with musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, disc problems and to aide in recovery after orthopedic surgeries.  Acupuncture can also be utilized for chronic gastrointestinal, kidney, liver and heart conditions.   An office visit (see above) is required with the first acupuncture treatment.  As long as added examinations are not required, future acupuncture visits are not charged an office visit fee.  Acupuncture treatments range in cost from $56 to $71 depending upon technique (dry needle, moxabustion, injection or electric stimulation).

Chiropractic

Adjustments are $45.

Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbs are helpful in treating internal medicine problems as well as musculoskeletal cases; Cushings disease, diabetes, arthritic aches and pains and disc disease to name a few.  Ace of Spays works with full-line distributors of Chinese herbs and carries a large in-house inventory.

Lab Work

Our full-service lab provides results within 24-48 hours.  Diagnosis, treatment and monitoring are aided by laboratory tests.

Dentistry

Ace of Spays strives to make basic care affordable with reasonably priced dental and spay/neuter services.  Routine dentals are $150 and include anesthesia, scaling, ultrasonic cleaning and polishing.  There are added fees for extractions, suturing, geriatric medications, and IV fluids.

Nutraceuticals

Nutraceuticals are nutritional substances that aide healing.  Ace of Spays carries nutraceuticals for common conditions of dogs and cats, such as liver and kidney disease.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is the science of treating like with like.  A compound that causes a particular clinical sign, when given in the very small homeopathic quantities can treat the disease.  A high dose of belladonna causes fever but a homeopathic dose, treats fever.
